The proposed Meadows Park is a 11.23-acre community park located in the Natomas Meadows Community.

The revised Meadows Park master plan includes a community garden, a group picnic area with shade shelter, picnic seating areas, an adventure play area with fabric canopy, a tot lot with fabric canopy, a softball field, a large dog park (1.5 acres), a small dog park (0.5 acres), two lighted tennis courts, two half basketball courts, a restroom building, a common green area, walkways, decomposed granite jogging path with shade trees and water efficient landscaping, informal turf areas, an urban forest, and street parking (70 spaces).
The park is planned to include the Maintainable Park Standards energy saving techniques. At least 20% of the site is designed with urban forest, non-irrigated native grasses and mulch.
The revised Meadows Park master plan was reviewed by the community at the Natomas Meadows Community Association meeting on October 18, 2018. The revised Meadows Park master plan was approved by the Parks and Recreation Commission on December 6, 2018 and approved by City Council on February 12, 2019.
Phase 1 included the development of the entire 11.23-acre park site with the following amenities: picnic seating areas, a tot lot with fabric canopy, walkways, an urban forest, informal turf areas, shade trees and water efficient landscaping.
The playground has a fabric shade canopy structure and includes a ramp that leads onto the main play structure with slides, activity panels, climbing rocks, climbing dome, group spinner, flower and tree musical instruments, drums, see-saw, spring rider and swings.
