The Ethel MacLeod Hart Senior Center is the heart of operations for the City of Sacramento Older Adult Services division. In addition to providing a wide array of services, the center is a gathering place for people who come together to stretch their horizons, have fun, learn new things, make friends and discover the joys of life after age 50. The Hart Senior Center offers enrichment classes, fitness activities, services and opportunities to socialize—all to optimize the experience of aging. Membership is NOT a requirement before participating or registering for any of our classes or activities.
The Neighborhood Walks program at your local Sacramento City community center welcomes all older adults to join us. This is a great opportunity to make new friends, get involved within the community, and have a great time exercising. It’s only a short walk to better health! Our Neighborhood Walks program includes historical landmarks and stories from Sacramento Natives. If you have any questions, please contact any participating community center regarding the Neighborhood Walks. Below is a list of participating community centers with dates and times for each Neighborhood Walk.
