Well Site Feasibility Study

The Well Site Feasibility Study will identify locations within the City of Sacramento for the construction of new drinking water wells.

The project will construct test wells and monitoring wells at multiple locations throughout the City to evaluate the quality of groundwater aquifers.

City staff are working with the contractor to minimize project impacts, such as noise and dust:

  • A soundwall will be constructed to reduce construction noise
  • Construction equipment and activities will be staged as far away from residents as possible
  • Equipment that produces noise will be faced away from residents

Project cost

The estimated construction cost is about $1.3 million.
