Organizers of special events that are Runs or Walks need to have appropriate waste receptacles at their start/finish lines, where the bulk of participants will be gathering and there may be vendors. The containers must be removed within two hours of the run or walk passing through the hydration station area.
Marches and Parades need to have the appropriate waste receptacles at their start/finish spots. The City reserves the right to require the type, placement, and number of containers along a parade or march route based on the type and size of event.
