Missed pickup

Waste collection occurs between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. If your garbage, recycling, or organics container has not been collected by 2 p.m., contact 311. Missed pickups are required to be reported within two business days, or collection may not occur until your next regular collection day.

Broken lid or container

Broken lids or containers are exchanged for free. Contact 311 to report a problem with your container and they will arrange for a repair or new container to be delivered.

Exchange container for different size or add a container

Switching the container size, or adding a container, will have an impact on your bill. Any service request that will change your bill needs to be made through the City's Billing Department. They will make the correct bill adjustments and arrange for the container exchange

Delivery of containers for new homes

The Utilities Billing team takes care of setting up services for newly built homes, upon receiving finalized home permits or notification from a customer that they have received keys and a move-in-date has been set. After a billing account has been created, a date for container delivery will be set up. If your containers have not arrived when you take occupancy of the property, please contact Utilities Customer Service.
