The Sacramento Fire Department charges fees to recover costs for services not covered by general taxes.
These fees are approved by the Sacramento City Council and set forth by resolution. The following are some of the fees charged by the department. For additional information please consult the City of Sacramento's Fee and Charges webpage.
The Sacramento Fire Department offers patients the ability to set up payment plans through its billing office. Additionally, a fee waiver application is available to waive or reduce the account balance based on the most recent Federal Poverty Level chart provided by the Department of Health and Human Services
