The Innovation Park project proposes to transform the location of the former Sleep Train Arena into a vibrant mix of residential, commercial, health, and educational uses. A major component of the project is the California Northstate University (CNU) Medical Center Campus.
The Innovation Park Planned Unit Development (PUD) guidelines, being developed as part of this project, will provide goals, policies, design concepts, and development standards that will guide the future development of the site including residential and non-residential uses, parks and open space, the bikeways network, and community amenities.
CNU Medical Center Campus
The CNU Medical Center Campus will include a hospital, college, dormitories, childcare center, senior residential care facility, and supporting office, commercial, and retail uses. At the heart of CNU’s planned campus, is a 14-story, 730,000-square-foot hospital building to be constructed in the first phase of the project.
