Florin Road Corridor Plan

The Florin Road Corridor Plan was a joint planning effort between the City and the County of Sacramento to promote coordinated planning and economic revitalization along the corridor. The boundaries extend along Florin Road between Tamoshanter Way in the City and Stockton Boulevard in the County (map).

The Florin Road Corridor Plan includes specific strategies to address housing, economic development, infrastructure and financing, public safety, and design needs of the corridor. These strategies will encourage well-designed infill and economic development along Florin Road.

Strategic Neighborhood Action Plan (SNAP)

Strategic Neighborhood Action Plan (SNAP) is an action-oriented plan reflecting the common goals and priorities for neighborhoods that is developed through a partnership of neighborhood residents, business owners, City staff, and other agencies. In 1999, the Planning Department and Neighborhood Services developed the SNAP process to better understand and address neighborhood issues. SNAPs establish priorities for neighborhood improvement; identify programs to achieve priorities; empower community residents to improve their neighborhoods; identify neighborhood vision for residential infill development; and create programs to facilitate infill development in the area consistent with the neighborhood vision.

McClellan Heights / Parker Homes area plan

The plan area is generally bounded on the north by Bell Avenue, the east by Winters Street, the south by Interstate 80, and the west by the Raley Boulevard. The Plan was adopted by City Council on November 2007. McClellan Heights and Parker Homes Final Plan.
