We are committed to building upon our vision of a community where care and resources are accessible for all animals. Through collaboration and innovation, our compassionate partners and volunteers continue to promote and support opportunities that help our community pets.

Community vaccination clinics

You will work as a team to assist with vaccinating and microchipping loved dogs and cats in the community.

Thousands of pets are vaccinated each year thanks to grant funding, community partners, and volunteers.

Thank you to our volunteers, the UC Davis students, La Familiar Org, and the clinic sites at Grant Union High School, North Natomas Community Center, Oak Park Community Center, and Sam and Bonnie Pannell Community Center.

Community outreach events

Shelter ambassadors needed!

Shelter ambassadors engage with the public at various fun events around Sacramento and its surrounding areas. They rally for donations, provide resource information to those looking for help, and recruit new volunteers, fosters, and Front Street supporters.

Pet food pantry

To help pets and their people stay together, Front Street offers cat food and dog food to anyone who needs a helping hand.

This program critically relies on food donations from kind businesses and individuals as well as the time and friendly faces of our dedicated volunteers.
