Give a dog a day out of the shelter! The dog will enjoy it just as much as you do. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the life of a shelter dog by giving the dog a break from their usual environment. You can take the dog for a walk on a local trail, grab a pup cup, visit dog-friendly breweries, or simply relax at one of Sacramento's many parks. Or, take a shelter pup home overnight through our Pups and PJs program, offering them a much-needed break from the shelter and a taste of home.
