This mobile vet service comes to your home and provides a full range of treatments, including wellness exams, sick care, home lab tests, vaccinations, microchipping, and issued health travel certificates.

Bringing Animals from Crisis to Care

This organization helps to preserve the human-animal bond by providing financial assistance, resources and support to low-income individuals and survivors of domestic violence and their pets so families can escape together and stay together. Services include emergency boarding grants, urgent care grants, domestic violence safe escape grants, and domestic violence safe housing grants.

Mercer Clinic for the pets of the homeless

A partnership of veterinary students and professionals with pets and their people

This organization is a student-run, volunteer-based, veterinary outreach dedicated to serving the pets of the homeless in Sacramento. Under the supervision of faculty and community DVM volunteers, they provide veterinary students and pre-veterinary students with experience seeing patients, while providing both preventative and restorative care to pets in need.
