Resources for Pet Owners

Front Street Animal Shelter's Pet Food Pantry has been moved from Wednesday to Tuesday. It is from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm in the shelter's parking lot.

The Front Street Animal Shelter has compiled a comprehensive list of clinics and programs to help owners and their furry family members, ranging from medical services to health care to behavior modification to social and emotional support.

Free vaccination and microchip clinic

  • Clinic is for both dogs and cats
  • Sunday February 9  --  8:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • North Natomas Community Center  --  2601 New Market Drive, Sacramento 95835

Free spay and neuter for cats and dogs

  • Spay or neuter your cat or dog for free by applying for a voucher through Front Street Animal Shelter's program to assist low-income residents in the City of Sacramento.
