There's no place like home. Unfortunately, pets sometimes need a new one. Life changes, the unexpected happens, and people are faced with the hard choice of having to rehome their pet. We understand.

That's why we're introducing Home To Home™. Home To Home™ helps pets stay out of shelters. It is a unique, direct-to-adopter program for pet owners looking to re-home their animals. In just a few simple steps, pets can find a loving new home without ever seeing the inside of a shelter.

It's free to use for both owners and adopters and gives animals needing a new home the best of both worlds --- their current owner can find the best fit and their adopter can learn all about their personality and preferences first-hand.

All adoptions are free on Home To Home™, and you get first-hand information by speaking with the owner. The majority of pets posted on Home To Home are there due to family emergencies and situations that are beyond the owner's control, such as a death in the family, having to relocate and being unable to take their pet, or serious illness. It's far better for the pet, the owner, and the potential owner to avoid surrendering to the shelter when possible. When you adopt a pet from Home To Home™, you are not just helping a pet but also a person in need who is often facing a very difficult situation. Plus, you are helping our shelter and all creatures great and small by reducing overcrowding and allowing more resources to be available to help those animals that have no other option.

Home To Home™ provides peace of mind for pets and pet owners by making transitions from one home into another smooth so that the love connection is never lost or broken.
