The Office of Arts and Culture utilizes the expertise of review panels to evaluate applications submited for consideration to our funding programs. Review panelists play a critical role in the government grantmaking process by providing expert evaluation of grant applications, ensuring a fair and transparent assessment based on established criteria, and promoting accountability and responsible allocation of public funds.

Review Panel Opportunities

The Office of Arts and Culture is seeking applicants to serve on upcoming grant review panels. Selected panelists may be eligible to receive an honorarium for their time and commitment to the panel review process. Honorarium may vary based on the needs of the panel and available funding. Creative Growth Fellowship Review Panel - Planned for Summer 2025

For our upcoming Creative Growth Fellowship, the Office of Arts and Culture invites arts professionals across all disciplines who are interested in serving on a panel to submit an application for consideration. To help avoid potential conflicts of interest, we encourage and will prioritize panelist applicants from outside the City of Sacramento. An honorarium will be paid to all who participate.
